- The audience's class can be varied, yet we have a specific target audience of middle class as our characters do not talk about power or money, so it will not really attract audiences of a higher social class as they do not have many things in the film that they can relate too.
- The location of our target audience will mostly be in London as most scenes in the film will be based in parts of London and all actors will have a British accent so audience can relate. Even though that is our target audience, we do not hesitate in having the possibility of attracting other audiences such as people from Europe etc.
- Most of our target audiences will either be in school/college or may even be working. This will be the target audiences as the actors are of quite a young age, so people can relate and maybe admire. I say school due to the fact that some people may watch the movie as they look up to the actors as they are of an older age. Yet there could be an audience whom are older due to the fact that they may just like the genre of the film.
- Our target audience's age will range between the age of 14 and 23. We say this age as younger viewers may again look up to actors of a slight older age, or maybe they could even relate to the actors. We go up to the age of 23 as we believe that some people of this age may come to view the film simply for the reason of the genre.
- The race of our target audience is more for individuals living in a western community as it has more technology and money to be spent on watching films. Whereas less developed countries whom may not have the technology and funds to watch movies. Even though there is a target audience, there is not a specific ethnicity or race that we are applying the movie too. We want the film to be applicable to all cultures/ethnicities.
- The target audience will be majority of females, as they are more likely to relate to the storyline of a girl falling in love. Even though its a twist as it involves a supernatural being such as a vampire, it still follows the same genre as all other romances. Yet there may also be some male viewers as they themselve's could enjoy the whole storyline of vampires.

Vampire Horror- Representation.
With the Television series 'The Vampire Diarie's', the mise en scene that contributes to the representation of vampires. This includes with the opening of the scenes, a car is driving down a dark, foggy road. This already helps give an eerie and scary atmosphere. There is also a human who has been bitten on the neck, this is associated with vampires, as a bitten neck is a stereotypical vampire iconography. After this incident, the scene goes to a problematic human life, of a pair of orphans living with thier aunt and trying to focus on leading a normal life, yet the audience already know that there are vampires around.
The sound in the opening sequence also contributes to the representation of vampires, there is a narrative voice over of what it sounds to be a young man telling the audience that he is a vampire and he wants to tell his story, this also ties in with the title of the programme 'Vampire Diaries'. There is also non-diegetic music in the background when the couple are speaking in the car as if its from the car radio, yet both sounds can be heard clearly whilst together, this helps take away for just a small amount of time the eerie atmosphere in which the darkness and fog creates. Lastly another thing that contributes to the representation is the natural sounds within the scenes, such as the sound of the wind, trees and the birds which we hear alone and not along with any other sounds, creating another eerie atmosphere.
With camera shots that were used, certain aspects of the scene had extreme close ups, such as the hand of the person in which was hit by the car had a large oval ring on thier finger. This could be an eternity ring in which could be from a vampire family heirloom suggesting that this person may be a vampire. There is also another close up of the male on the road with a bitten neck showing the bite and all the blood. Both of these close ups are strong representations of vampires giving the audience an example of the types of things that vampires are involved with.

Horror Film Research.
With this horror movie, 'The Devil Inside'. It tells of a story of a young woman whose mother was "possessed" and was sectioned when she was a young age. This female is interested in these such possessions and is interested in the exorcism's that are performed in Italy. She travels there to visit her mother in the private mental hospital and to watch two priests perform exorcism's to other possessed individuals.
In the trailer, the audience see a medium shot of the possessed mother having an outburst which is believed to have been the result of a possession. This short footage of the mother give the audience an idea of what they may see in the movie, this whole topic of 'exorcisms' intrigues a variety of audiences. There may be individuals who just want to see something different, or they may just want to watch a horror. Yet it also may intrigue an audience who are interested in exorcism's.
When the trailer starts and the title screen appears 'The Devil Inside' is displayed in white capital letters, with the 'D' spelt backwards, this usually would be seen abnormal in the eye of anyone, yet it could symbolize the movie suggesting what is involved (i.e exorcism's). Then underneath the white text, there is also red text saying 'NO SOUL IS SAFE'. The colour red symbolize's death, pain and anger which could suggest ideas that may be in the film, also the words suggest that no-one is safe which already will give audience that horror factor.
